Everything is grouped together in separate “cash boxes” so that you don’t have to mix different things and different groups of people.
Except for the “Pro” versions of the mobile app, there are absolutely no costs associated with SplitLog. You can use it free as long and with as many people as you want*.
SplitLog will be available as a native app for all major mobile platforms in addition to the mobile friendly web version, making it readily available to you and all of your friends.
You have the possibility to settle a cash box regularily so that you can always keep your balance and that of your flat mates near zero, even for long lasting cash boxes.
SplitLog supports different currencies for different cash boxes. You can even choose a separate currency for each bill you enter and the current change rate is automatically applied*.
We take privacy and security very serious. Strict privacy rules ensure that only ever those will see your data who are eligible to it. We will also never sell any information or use it for advertising or similar means. Everything stays on our server.
For those geeky enough, we provide the SplitLog server software as open source. We also support setting of a custom server in our mobile apps, so that you can use your own server and your data never has to leave your system.
The server uses a REST protocol that is open and documented so that any interested developer can create custom applications on top of SplitLog.
